Visa guidance for Afghanistan passport holders
An online application is not available
Patients from Afghanistan apply through a separate Government of India portal, not the standard e-Visa system.
The Government of India e-Visa portal states that nationals of Afghanistan apply online through a separate dedicated portal rather than the standard e-Visa route. Requirements and timelines differ from the e-Medical Visa. Confirm the current position directly before making travel or treatment commitments, as arrangements for nationals of Afghanistan have changed several times.
Checked against the Government of India e-Visa portal on 22 September 2026. Visa rules change, so confirm before you book travel.

Where to start
Most patients begin by sending their reports for review, then receive hospital options and a written estimate before committing to anything.
Start with a conversation, not a commitment
Tell us what you need and that you are travelling from Afghanistan. A care advisor will come back with hospital options, an indicative estimate and the visa route that applies to your passport.
